As a set of guidelines for money-market players and supporting agencies regarding the submission of reports on money-market instrument transactions, Bank Indonesia has issued Regulation of the Bank Indonesia Board of Governors No. 20/14/PADG/2018 on Non-Banks and Custodian Money-Market Reporting.

As a follow up to the new legal framework for foreign workers, the Minister of Manpower has issued Regulation No. 10 of 2018 on the Recruitment of Foreign Workers. This new regulation comprises implementing provisions for Regulation of the President No. 20 of 2018, which addresses the same matters.

BI Sets Further Provisions on the Carriage of Foreign Banknotes
Bank Indonesia has just issued Regulation of the Members of Board of Governors No. 20/12/PADG/2018 on Implementing Guidelines for the Carriage of Foreign Banknotes into and out of Indonesian Customs Territories. Regulation 12/2018 serves as an implementation of Regulation of BI No. 19/7/PBI/2017 on the Carriage of Foreign Banknotes into and out of Indonesian Customs Territories, as amended by Regulation of BI No. 20/2/PBI/2018.
Govt. Regulates Implementation of Madrid Protocol
The Indonesian Government has finally issued Regulation No. 22 of 2018 on the Registration of International Marks Based on the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks, as a follow up to joining the Protocol for the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks through the issuance of Regulation of the President No. 92 of 2017.

The Minister of Environment and Forestry has issued Regulation of the Minister No. P.15/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/5/2018 on Forestry Areas with Specific Purposes, which allows the government to designate forest areas for specific purposes in the public interest, including for the purposes of research and development, education and training, as well as religious and cultural affairs.
Expansion of the Mandatory INSW System
The Minister of Finance is aiming to expand the mandatory implementation of the Indonesia National Single Window system through the issuance of Regulation No. 63/PMK.01/2018 on the Amendment to Regulation of the Minister No. 132/PMK.01/2008 on Guidelines and Stages for the Development and Implementation of the Indonesia National Single Window.

The National Agency of Drugs and Food Control recently issued Regulation of the BPOM No. 7 of 2018 on the Prohibition of Certain Raw Materials in Processed Foods, with the ultimate objective of protecting the general public from any raw materials which do not satisfy minimum safety, quality and nutritional requirements.
