Overview On 31 March 2017, the government of Indonesia officially ended its tax-amnesty program.[1] Despite failing to hit its initial total revenue target,[2] Indonesia’s recent tax-amnesty still managed to become the world’s most successful ever of such program, netting a total amount of declared assets of IDR 4,884 trillion (approximately USD 367 billion) and total ransom fees (uang tebusan) amounting to IDR 115 trillion (approximately USD 8.6 billion)....
