Letter from the Editor Today marks the end of the first phase of the government’s tax-amnesty program. As of now, tax-amnesty applicants will have to engage in the second phase of the program and will be required to pay higher ransom fees amounting to 3% of any undisclosed assets (for assets that will be repatriated) or 6% of any undisclosed assets (for assets that will not be repatriated). Public confidence in the program seems to be running high and the total amount of ransoms which were paid in September reached IDR 80....
