LETTER FROM THE EDITOR This month, the public’s attention has been squarely fixed upon several sizzling cases which are currently being handled by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). In early April of 2016, the KPK detained a member of Jakarta’s House of Representative for his alleged involvement in a corruption case relating to the deliberation of a draft regional regulation on reclamation. Just days later, the KPK also detained several executives from one of Indonesia’s most prominent companies in connection with the same case....
