Overview Nuclear weapons have the potential to threaten world peace, and the threat of a nuclear catastrophe that could destroy human civilization can only be eliminated through the eradication of all nuclear weapons. The Government of Indonesia believes that the most effective method of addressing the threat and use of nuclear weapons is to unconditionally eliminate nuclear weapons, through a legally binding agreement that applies to all countries without exception. In order to advance international efforts to eliminate nuclear weapons and prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons, on 6 December 2011 the House of Representatives has passed a Bill on the Ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban-Treaty....
